Soooo, here's to the first blog post of 2025 (and also just the first one ever!!)

Welcome to MOOV Chiropractic — where we help people move better, feel better, and live better every day! Based in Lydney, Forest of Dean, MOOV is all about restoring healthy movement, improving function, and helping your body do what it’s designed to do — with a mix of science, laughter, and genuine care.


Now that you know where you’ve landed, let’s get into this whole “blogging” thing, shall we? 😅


I’m not going to say I’m a seasoned professional at this — because that would be a big, fat lie. Being completely honest, I’m not entirely sure what a blog should involve… so I may have cheated and asked my personal assistant (ahem, ChatGPT 👀).

So let's jump right in shall we? Number 1 - Who am I?

Well my name is Tess, the owner and Chiropractor of MOOV Chiropractic! A full-time enthusiast for helping people move like actual humans again.

I have great joy in helping people who rotate their entire body like a confused robot 🤖, bodies that sound like a glow stick, or people who have decided “maybe this stabbing pain will just disappear” (spoiler: it normally doesn't).

I didn’t get into Chiropractic because I love cracking things (though, let’s be honest, that is incredibly satisfying). I started MOOV because I got tired of people being told to just “live with it”, as if feeling awful was somehow normal...

The principles of a session with me at MOOV is simple. Science, movement, a good laugh, and a deep respect for how brilliant your body actually is!

When I’m not helping people feel amazing, you’ll find me: moving my body in the gym, reading nerdy books or complete romance rubbish (there is no inbetween) whilst cuddling up with furry friends 🐶🐈

So, that’s me — your friendly, slightly nerdy chiropractor who genuinely believes your body was built to feel great, not just “ok.”


Now that we’re acquainted… shall we keep this MOOV-ing? 😉


I think I may have just snuck a bit of number 2 in there so clearly I must be an expert at this!! But a quick warning: if you ever spot a typo or spelling mistake… 😬 oops! I promise I am much better at Chiropractic than the writing blogs!

As for what you can expect from these blogs... Hmmm... If I'm honest, there is no set plan...


BUT


I do plan on sharing a mix of informative chats, nerdy insights, and honest thoughts about the stuff I talk to clients about every day. Add in the odd book, podcast, or research find that makes me go “Oooh, that’s interesting!” I can promise you is that these won’t be your typical boring health blogs. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and maybe you’ll even sit up straighter while you read. 👀
